Procura Software announces successful go-live of Clinical Care solution at Enliven in New Zealand

Today marks a significant milestone for Procura Software as the latest addition to its product portfolio, Procura Clinical Care, reaches successful go-live and enters into the New Zealand market.

Enliven is a New Zealand based aged and community care provider with a long history of providing services to older people – operated, managed and governed by seven Presbyterian Support organisations.

Enliven is undergoing digital transformation to manage and streamline all of its aged and community care services. The digital transformation is coming to reality, thanks to a new partnership with Procura.

Enliven Director Julia Russell, says she is excited by the opportunity to introduce a new way of working to the company.

“Currently every note, every file, everything we do is paper based, except medication. There are often risks for double ups, or missing notes,” Julia explains. “Procura will smoothen this all out to create a seamless system across the board.”

Thirty new tablets have been purchased for staff to use with Procura Clinical Care, and the solution works on any capable smartphone as well – carers can carry around the notes of all of their patients, right in their pocket.

“It’s transformational,” Julia explains. “I’ve been waiting for this technology all my professional life.”

This new technology will allow staff to spend time more effectively as well as ensuring all documents are updated in real time. “You can be in a patient’s room and write up your notes,” says Julia.

The tablets will be multipurpose, beyond simply reducing paperwork and saving trees. They can be utilised for visitor surveys, and once the technology is implemented there’s no limit to their use. Wifi capability will be extended to make the process seamless.

Aged Care providers are looking for an integrated care system that can provide a paperless working environment by moving everything, including patient information, schedules and data, onto a centralised electronic system.
