Procura invests more than $7 million annually for R & D in the next generation Procura Care Software, designed to support excellence in aged, community and disability care.
Sydney, Australia – 7th September 2016. The Procura Group of Companies is pleased to announce that they will invest more than $7 million in research and development (R & D), in the current fiscal year 2017, to advance the technology of Procura Care Software to meet the growing needs in the CDC and NDIS community environment, improving functionality, customer interaction and organisational efficiency.
In addition, a major part of the spend is earmarked for Procura’s next generation web-based Procura Clinical Care Software product , devised to enhance user experience. Procura Clinical Care will enable aged care residential providers to streamline processes and deliver better outcomes for residents, utilising the latest technology.

Designed for scalability, allowing the product to grow with organisations as they expand and to deliver exceptional performance, Procura Clinical Care the application is designed to run in standalone or hosted mode. The application was built in a web format allowing users to run their facilities with workstations or tablets documenting at the point of care.

Delivered through a web browser, the application facilitates documentation at the point of care on a broad range of highly portable and functional tablet devices. Procura Clinical Care offers advanced care features including a comprehensive resident record, care planning, charting and assessments, with incident, infection and quality registers implemented to allow documentation of these items against entities within Clinical Care allowing the user to manage and report as required.
