Western Australia’s largest not-for-profit aged care and retirement living provider selects Procura

Toowong, QLD (April 8, 2014) – Bethanie, the largest not-for-profit aged care and retirement living provider in Western Australia, has announced today that it has selected Procura as its aged care software vendor for Community Home Care Services.

Founded in 1954 as Churches of Christ Homes, Bethanie has grown from a single aged care facility in Joondanna, WA, to now offering a full continuum of services ranging from home care and social centres for seniors, to retirement villages, affordable housing and residential aged care across Perth and regional Western Australia.

“We were impressed with Procura’s level of knowledge gained through their strong global presence in home and community care. Procura showed us the strength and depth in their current release with a robust and credible roadmap upon which we can confidently build a long term strategy together,” says Peter Humphries, Project Manager at Bethanie. “It was important to us to have a software solution that was flexible and could be configured to fit Bethanie’s business processes. With Procura we will see our manual processes become automated, allowing our team to complete all information at the point of service, with the data automatically embedding into the system ensuring that reports capture all information.  Using Procura’s Mobility and Point of Care solutions, we are predicting to save 25 to 30% on travel time and mileage.”

Highly regarded in Western Australia as a benchmark for the aged care industry, Bethanie is well known and respected for caring for its clients with professionalism and sensitivity.

“Bethanie is an innovative and dynamic industry leader in the not-for-profit aged care and retirement village provider industry. Their energy is fuelled by a passion in delivering compassionate care and services,” states Garry Neale, General Manager of Procura Australia and New Zealand. “We attribute our success and growth as a company to the relationships we build, and the input we receive from our clients. We are looking forward to working with Bethanie, and we believe that by utilising Procura’s complete end-to-end solution, together we will exceed Bethanie’s expectations of care for their clients.”
