In 2013, Blue Care celebrates 60 years of providing caring services to the people of Queensland and northern New South Wales. From humble beginnings, Blue Care has grown to be one of the largest aged care providers in Australia.
From a business system and IT perspective, Blue Care has focused the last 10 years on centralising systems and replacing smaller as well as legacy systems with enterprise solutions.

Procura was selected to be a core system as part of this journey providing Blue Care with end-to-end business process capabilities covering Finance, Resident Management and, most recently, Residential Clinical Care.
In implementing Clinical Care, Blue Care has managed to overcome key challenges including the provision of a variety of care services to a geographically dispersed client base, managing the rollout with limited bandwidth in terms of resourcing as well as IT infrastructure, and delivering training to users who are located across a vast geography as well as in rural and in remote locations.
